Pentart Metal Pigment is a fine-grained pigment made from real metal.

Since metal pigment is not stable in aqueous solutions, it can be mixed into resins or solvent-based paints, varnishes, or sprinkled onto sticky surfaces. The surface will shine, looking like real metal.

Pentart Metal Pigment is often used to imitate precious metals or to create a shimmering effect in mixed media and scrapbooking projects.

Here at YSP we use the metal pigments with Pentart's Pigment Fix to create a beautiful shiny metallic finish. Add the pigment fixer to the pigment powder in small amounts until the desired consistency is achieved, then apply to the surface with a brush or sponge brush. Use immediately.
