How to Use Wood Compo

Creating your own decorative furniture appliqués is simple:

1. Press Wood Compo into your chosen IOD silicone mould.
2. Allow the moulded piece to dry.
3. Remove the casting from the mould.
4. Trim, sand or carve as required.
5. Gently warm the casting if needed to help it fit a curved surface.
6. Attach the finished embellishment to your project using an appropriate adhesive.
7. Paint, stain, glaze or topcoat to create your desired finish.

Shallow moulds generally dry in around 4 - 5 hours, while deeper castings may require additional drying time or overnight drying.
