Iron Orchid Designs - The Connoisseur's Library Mini Stamp Set

IOD The Connoisseur’s Library Mini Stamp Set

Bring a little well-loved library character to your projects with The Connoisseur’s Library Mini Stamp Set from Iron Orchid Designs. This bookish collection combines ephemera, typography and ornamental details for decorating book spines, handmade journals and literary-inspired home décor.

Imagine a row of decorative books with individually detailed spines, a handmade journal with a scholarly finish, or a keepsake made for someone who always has a book nearby. The designs feel gathered over time, helping you build layered compositions with a vintage, collected character.

Ideas for your next project

• Add stamped details to book and journal spines.
• Decorate cast book spines made with the IOD Bookish Mould, which this set was specifically designed to complement.
• Create literary-themed wall panels, decorative boxes and handmade gifts for book lovers.
• Layer typography, ephemera and ornamental details in journals and mixed media art.
• Press the designs into IOD Air Dry Clay to create embossed craft details.

Using your IOD stamps

Use with IOD Decor Inks to arrange the typography and ornamental details into your own composition. An IOD Flexible Grid Mount Sheet can support positioning on flat projects, while the stamps can be used without their backing on curved or irregular surfaces.

Preparing your stamps

Condition before first use for a cleaner impression. Remove the protective acrylic sheet from the stamping side, leaving the stamps on their backing sheet. Gently scuff the stamping surface with fine-grit sandpaper in one direction, then turn through 90 degrees and repeat.
