Iron Orchid Designs - Adornment - Decor Stamp - RETIRED

IOD Adornment Decor Stamp

Add classic architectural detail to your projects with the Adornment Decor Stamp from Iron Orchid Designs. Featuring decorative elements including egg-and-dart designs, this clear stamp sheet brings ornamental accents to furniture upcycling, handmade home décor and mixed media crafts.

Imagine a painted keepsake box edged with a decorative border, a wall panel with architectural character or a tray finished with a carefully placed ornament. Use small sections as accents or repeat the designs to frame a larger composition.

Ideas for your next project

• Create architectural-style borders on painted furniture and decorative panels.
• Add ornamental details to keepsake boxes and trays.
• Frame stamped artwork with repeating decorative accents.
• Build vintage-inspired borders for journal pages and mixed media art.
• Press the designs into IOD Air Dry Clay for embossed craft details.

Using your IOD stamps

Use with IOD Decor Inks. An IOD Flexible Grid Mount Sheet can support positioning on flat projects, while the stamps can be used without their backing on curved or irregular surfaces. Test your spacing and repeated patterns on scrap material before stamping your finished piece.

Preparing your stamps

Condition before first use for a cleaner impression. Remove the protective acrylic sheet from the stamping side, leaving the stamps on their backing sheet. Gently scuff the stamping surface with fine-grit sandpaper in one direction, then turn through 90 degrees and repeat.
