Iron Orchid Designs - Mould - Trimmings 4

IOD Trimmings 4 Decor Mould - 6" x 10"

Add architectural character to your next furniture makeover with the Trimmings 4 silicone mould from Iron Orchid Designs. Inspired by the ornate details of vintage English Renaissance architecture, this 6" x 10" decor mould features two decorative trim designs: one filled with intricate floral elements and the other with graceful, sweeping flourishes.

Imagine a sideboard finished with a richly detailed border, a dining table edged with elegant flourishes, or an oversized mirror given a vintage-inspired frame. These decorative furniture mouldings bring depth and character to painted pieces, helping you turn a simple edge into a thoughtful finishing detail.

Create continuous decorative borders

Both trim designs are made to form seamless, continual patterns. Repeat your castings along longer edges to create a coordinated border, choosing the floral design for botanical detail or the sweeping flourishes for a flowing, ornamental finish.

Ideas for your next project

• Add decorative trim beneath the edge of a sideboard or along a hutch.
• Embellish the edges of dining tables and bedside tables.
• Frame a large mirror or vintage-inspired artwork with repeating mouldings.
• Create raised borders on IOD Wood Blanks for decorative wall art.
• Explore a statement cuff-bracelet project using the ornamental trim designs.

Choose a finish to suit your piece

Paint your castings to blend into your furniture for a subtle architectural effect, or pick out the raised floral details and flourishes with a contrasting finish. A softly aged look complements vintage-inspired projects, while a single colour lets the dimensional pattern take centre stage.
