Using air dry clay and casting resin

Spring Garden can be used with air dry clay and casting resin. Air dry clay may shrink, warp or crack as it dries, adding character to distressed and vintage-inspired pieces. Dust the mould lightly with cornflour to help release the clay, then remove the casting while still moist and adhere it to your project. Low-tack tape can help hold it in place on vertical surfaces.

Casting resin produces consistent mouldings without the drying shrinkage associated with clay. For curved applications, a casting may be shaped before it has completely hardened; follow your chosen resin manufacturer's instructions for timing and handling.
