IOD Bows Decor Mould

Using air dry clay

Dust the mould lightly with cornflour to help release your casting. Remove the clay while still moist and adhere it in place. For vertical applications, low-tack tape can help hold the moulding while it dries. Natural shrinking, warping and cracking can give your finished piece an aged, distressed character.

Using casting resin

Casting resin produces consistent mouldings without the shrinking, warping or cracking associated with air dry clay. For curved surfaces, remove the casting before it has completely hardened so it can be shaped to fit.
