Using air dry clay and casting resin

Bookish can be used with air dry clay and casting resin. Air dry clay may shrink, warp or crack as it dries, lending character to vintage-inspired pieces. Dust the mould lightly with cornflour to aid release, then remove the clay casting while still moist and adhere it to your project. Low-tack tape can help support castings on vertical surfaces.

Casting resin produces consistent mouldings without the drying shrinkage associated with clay. For curved applications, a casting may be shaped before it has completely hardened; follow your chosen resin manufacturer's instructions for timing and handling.
