Iron Orchid Designs - Meadowlark - Decor Stamp ***Spring Release 2026***

Iron Orchid Designs Meadowlark Stamp was a true dream project! Having a love of birds, IOD wanted a set that lets makers build those classic nature scenes you see on vintage china plates and old transferware. 

Designed as a single, versatile sheet, it includes both background trees and foreground birds so you can create layered compositions with that familiar “birds on a branch” china pattern seen on vintage European dishware. The trees were sourced in the Paris flea markets, and the birds come from an 1800s archive. Picture makers can use Meadowlark to create their own decorative “plates” for wall displays, or it can be used for cards, mixed media and art pieces. 

Iron Orchid Designs Decor Stamps are clear stamps that can transform your projects into a piece of show-stopping home decor! But that's not all! They can be used on craft projects, papercraft and even on fabric. Iron Orchid Designs Decor Stamps are made from food safe material so can be used on baked goods and sugar art as well but please don't use the same set of stamps for crafts and edible arts.

Iron Orchid Designs Decor Stamps need to be conditioned before use to allow them to give a cleaner impression on your project:

1. Remove the acrylic sheet that is attached to the stamping side of the design but leave the stamps attached to their backing sheet.

2. Using fine grit sanding paper or a sanding block gently scuff the surface of your stamps.

3. Lightly sand in one direction and then turn the stamp through 90 degrees and gently sand in the other direction.

Iron Orchid Designs Decor Stamps can be used with the backing left on where each design is cut out separately or they can be removed from their backing and placed onto an Iron Orchid Designs Flexible Grid Mount Sheet for easy positioning and placement on your flat projects. The stamps can also be used without their backing around curved and/or irregular surfaces.

Iron Orchid Decor Stamps measure approximately 12" x 12" and can be used with different mediums including Iron Orchid Designs Inks. They work beautifully as embossers in Iron Orchid Designs Air Dry Clay.
