Iron Orchid Designs - Meadowlark - Decor Stamp

IOD Meadowlark Decor Stamp

Create vintage-inspired nature scenes with the Meadowlark Decor Stamp from Iron Orchid Designs. Bringing together trees and birds, this clear stamp sheet helps you build layered compositions inspired by the birds-on-a-branch patterns found on vintage European china and transferware.

Imagine a decorative plate-style wall display, a painted keepsake box with a bird perched among branches, or a handmade card with a peaceful woodland scene. With tree designs sourced from Paris flea markets and bird illustrations from an 1800s archive, Meadowlark brings historical character to handmade home décor, papercrafts and mixed media art.

Ideas for your next project

• Create decorative plate-style artwork for wall displays.
• Build layered bird-and-tree scenes on handmade cards and mixed media panels.
• Add vintage china-inspired details to painted furniture, trays and keepsake boxes.
• Use individual birds or trees as focal points on journal pages and handmade gifts.
• Press the designs into IOD Air Dry Clay to create embossed craft details.

Using your IOD stamps

Use with IOD Decor Inks to combine background trees and foreground birds into your own composition. The clear stamps help with positioning, and an IOD Flexible Grid Mount Sheet can support placement on flat projects. For curved or irregular surfaces, use the stamps without their backing.

Preparing your stamps

Condition before first use for a cleaner impression. Remove the protective acrylic sheet from the stamping side, leaving the stamps on their backing sheet. Gently scuff the stamping surface with fine-grit sandpaper in one direction, then turn through 90 degrees and repeat.
