Iron Orchid Designs - Insignia Mini Stamp Set - RETIRED

IOD Insignia Mini Stamp Set

Make your projects personal with the Insignia Mini Stamp Set from Iron Orchid Designs. Inspired by the popularity of monograms in Victorian England, this set combines two sheets of complementary fonts with two sheets of detailed wreath emblems for initials, names and decorative lettering.

Imagine a handmade invitation finished with a wreath-framed initial, a journal filled with personalised ephemera or a painted keepsake box made especially for someone you love. Mix the lettering and emblems to create your own compositions, from simple monograms to layered decorative labels.

Ideas for your next project

• Personalise cards, envelopes, invitations and stationery.
• Create monogrammed gift tags and junk journal ephemera.
• Add initials to decorative plant pots and keepsake boxes.
• Make custom wall art and mixed media compositions.
• Combine lettering with the frames in IOD Emblems or Countryside Memoirs.
• Press the designs into IOD Air Dry Clay for embossed craft details.

Using your IOD stamps

Use with IOD Decor Inks. An IOD Flexible Grid Mount Sheet can support arranging letters and emblems on flat projects, while the stamps can be used without their backing on curved or irregular surfaces. Test spacing and alignment on scrap paper before stamping your finished piece.

Preparing your stamps

Condition before first use for a cleaner impression. Remove the protective acrylic sheet from the stamping side, leaving the stamps on their backing sheet. Gently scuff the stamping surface with fine-grit sandpaper in one direction, then turn through 90 degrees and repeat.
