IOD Charlotte Decor Stamp

Build your own creative compositions with the Charlotte Decor Stamp from Iron Orchid Designs. This set features 12 different stamps, including Charlotte herself, paintbrushes, cogs, a teacup and saucer, bugs, flowers, a butterfly and a bird, for mixed media art, journaling and furniture upcycling.

Imagine a keepsake box decorated with flowers and a butterfly, a journal page layered with cogs and paintbrushes, or Charlotte becoming the focal point of a handmade art panel. Use the designs individually for small accents, or combine the varied elements into a composition that tells your own story.

Ideas for your next project

  • Create layered mixed media panels with Charlotte as a focal point.
  • Add flowers, birds and butterflies to handmade cards and journal pages.
  • Decorate painted furniture, trays and keepsake boxes with individual motifs.
  • Stamp onto rice paper and decoupage the designs onto your creations.
  • Press into IOD Air Dry Clay to create embossed craft embellishments.

Using your IOD stamps

Stamp directly onto your project using ink or paint, or stamp onto rice paper for decoupage. An IOD Flexible Grid Mount Sheet can support positioning on flat projects, while the stamps can be used without their backing on curved or irregular surfaces. Try combining the elements on scrap paper before stamping your finished piece.

Preparing your stamps

Condition before first use for a cleaner impression. Remove the protective acrylic sheet from the stamping side, leaving the stamps on their backing sheet. Gently scuff the stamping surface with fine-grit sandpaper in one direction, then turn through 90 degrees and repeat.
