Iron Orchid Designs - Barnwood Planks - Decor Double Stamp

IOD Barnwood Planks Decor Double Stamp

Create rustic wood-grain effects with the Barnwood Planks Decor Double Stamp from Iron Orchid Designs. This two-sheet clear stamp set features wood-grain and plank textures for furniture upcycling, handmade home décor and mixed media crafts.

Imagine a decorative panel with the look of weathered boards, a painted keepsake box given a rustic finish or a handmade sign with a wood-inspired background. Use selected sections for subtle texture or repeat the designs across a larger project.

Ideas for your next project

• Create wood-inspired backgrounds for handmade signs and wall panels.
• Add rustic grain details to painted furniture, trays and boxes.
• Build plank-patterned backgrounds for mixed media art.
• Layer wood-grain effects into journal pages and handmade cards.
• Press the designs into IOD Air Dry Clay for embossed texture.

Using your IOD stamps

Use with IOD Decor Inks to build your wood-inspired finish. An IOD Flexible Grid Mount Sheet can support positioning and repeated patterns on flat projects, while the stamps can be used without their backing on curved or irregular surfaces. Test your colour and spacing on scrap material before stamping your finished piece.

Preparing your stamps

Condition before first use for a cleaner impression. Remove the protective acrylic sheet from the stamping side, leaving the stamps on their backing sheet. Gently scuff the stamping surface with fine-grit sandpaper in one direction, then turn through 90 degrees and repeat.
