Tip: Pre-cut log slices are widely available online, but if you have access to dry, seasoned wood, you can cut your own for an even more rustic look.
Step 1: Prepare Your Log Slices
Lightly sand each log slice to smooth any rough surfaces. Wipe off dust to ensure that your chalk paint will adhere properly.
If you’re cutting slices yourself, aim for an even thickness (about 1cm) and let them dry fully before decorating.
Step 2: Stamp Your Christmas Designs
Choose your IOD Stamp and lightly ink it with IOD black ink. Centre the design onto your wood slice. Press down firmly and evenly - then lift straight up for a crisp design.
