Iron Orchid Designs - The Waltz - Decor Stamp

IOD The Waltz Decor Stamp

Bring a little poetic charm to your projects with The Waltz Decor Stamp from Iron Orchid Designs. Inspired by vintage European sheet music, this clear stamp adds musical detail to furniture upcycling, handmade home décor and mixed media art.

Imagine a softly stamped musical background beneath birds and branches, subtle notes across the doors of a painted kitchen hutch, or a wall panel made for someone who loves music. The design can be tiled across larger projects or used in small sections to bring detail to the corners of your composition.

Ideas for your next project

• Add vintage sheet-music texture to painted furniture, decorative boxes and trays.
• Layer beneath birds and branches from the IOD Menagerie Transfer.
• Create musical wall art with elements from IOD Heraldry or Chanticleer.
• Build backgrounds for handmade cards, journal pages and mixed media panels.
• Press into IOD Air Dry Clay to create embossed musical craft details.

Using your IOD stamps

Use with IOD Decor Inks to create a musical focal point or a subtle background. Repeat the design over larger surfaces, or stamp selected areas for a lighter, layered effect. An IOD Flexible Grid Mount Sheet can support positioning on flat projects, while the stamps can be used without their backing on curved or irregular surfaces.

Preparing your stamps

Condition before first use for a cleaner impression. Remove the protective acrylic sheet from the stamping side, leaving the stamps on their backing sheet. Gently scuff the stamping surface with fine-grit sandpaper in one direction, then turn through 90 degrees and repeat.
